Photos you upload

Photos are resized in your browser before upload. We use one subprocessor to render and quality-check your photos: Google, via its Gemini API. Each photo is sent to that API solely to (1) generate your staged image and (2) run the automatic quality check that compares the render against your original before you see it, then the result is returned to you. We never sell your photos, and we never use them for our own advertising. We do not store your original photos on our servers. Staged renders are not stored either, with one narrow exception: in batch mode we briefly cache the first staged render (the style anchor) so the same furniture carries across every photo in your listing. That cached render is deleted within 24 hours — usually within the hour — by an automatic purge. Google's own handling of content sent to its API (including whether it is retained or used to improve Google's models) is governed by Google's API terms, not this policy — see Google's API Terms of Service and Gemini API Additional Terms for their current commitments.

Information we store

  • Email addresses you submit to the early-access waitlist or the support form, plus your support message. Used only to respond and to notify you about StageMLS. Never sold or shared for marketing.
  • Render metadata(style chosen, timing, cost, pass/fail of the quality check, and the quality checker's short diagnostic notes — brief text that can describe what's in the render). No photos or rendered images are attached to this log.
  • Batch style anchor: in batch mode only, the first staged render is cached so furniture stays consistent across your listing, then deleted within 24 hours (usually within the hour). Single-photo renders are never cached.
  • A salted hash of your IP address, kept to enforce the daily free render limit. We do not store raw IP addresses with your renders.

Cookies and analytics

StageMLS currently sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Payments

When paid plans launch, payments will be processed by Stripe; StageMLS will not store card numbers.

Removal requests

To have your email removed from the waitlist or support records, use the support form and we'll delete it.
