Pricing questions

What if a render fails or doesn't pass the quality check?

You're not charged for it if a render fails to pass the quality check. Every render is automatically compared against your original photo, and if it drifts on architecture, windows, or flooring after retries, the render quota it used is refunded automatically — you keep your full photo allowance for renders that actually work. A render that fails the check is never handed to you; you'll see a quality-flag notice with a retry option instead of a broken image. See our refund policy for the full detail on refunds for unused credits.

What exactly do I get for the $19 USD Listing Pack?

For the $19 USD Listing Pack, you get exactly this: one listing, up to 30 photos, staged in your chosen furniture style with the same look locked across every room. No preview watermark on the finals, the MLS disclosure kit (optional "Virtually Staged" watermark, copy-paste disclosure text, and an original + staged photo pair with every render), and both extra modes — declutter and day-to-dusk — included at no extra cost. It's a one-time payment per listing, not a subscription. Access starts immediately after checkout — see "When can I use what I paid for?" below.

Am I responsible for disclosing virtual staging on the MLS?

Yes — you're responsible for disclosing virtual staging on your MLS, not StageMLS. Disclosure requirements are set by your MLS and state. See our terms for the full breakdown; the short version is that most boards need at least a text-field disclosure, some (like ARMLS) require you to apply a disclosure inside their own MLS system, and California's AB 723 requires a written disclosure plus a publicly accessible link to the unstaged original. The Listing Pack's disclosure kit gives you the assets to help with the common cases, but applying your board's own disclosure mechanism and confirming your specific board's rule is on you.

Can I buy the Listing Pack or Pro plan right now?

Not yet — you can't buy the Listing Pack or Pro plan right now because paid checkout for both plans isn't open. Clicking a paid plan's button today routes you to the early-access waitlist instead of a card charge, and we'll email you the moment checkout goes live. The free tier (6 renders/day, watermarked previews) is fully usable today with no waitlist and no signup.

When can I use what I paid for, and what if I lose access?

Immediately: render credits are active as soon as checkout completes, with no separate activation step. StageMLS doesn't use accounts or passwords — your credits are tied to a link stored in your browser. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, use the recovery page with the email you paid with (or the "save this link" claim link from your checkout-confirmation page) to get them back; see /recover. Listing Pack credits are a one-time purchase and don't expire on a calendar basis — they stay available until used or until you lose access to the pass (recoverable as above). Pro plan credits reset each billing period and don't carry over to the next one — see our refund policy for the full detail. Renders run while your workspace tab is open; if you close the tab or lose connection mid-render, that specific render may not finish (its credit is refunded automatically if so) — keep the tab open while a listing is running, and check your credit count if you're ever unsure.

What happens to my photos when I stage them?

Your photo is resized in your browser, then sent through our AI rendering pipeline solely to generate the staged image and run the automatic quality check. We don't store your photos on our servers. In batch mode, the first staged render is briefly cached (deleted within 24 hours) so furniture stays consistent across your listing; nothing else is kept, and we never sell your photos or renders or use them for advertising — see our privacy policy for the full detail.
